Your perceptions are not irrefutable truths. What you see, hear, feel, almost anything having to do with senses can be proven wrong. What you think you see might not be it. What you think you smell might be something different. What you think
you feel might be another thing. But what we all know that can't be proven wrong is the ability to think. You might not think what others think that odor is, but at least you can guess like others using your mind. The philosopher Rene Descartes came up with this concept. He knew what he thought would be different compared to others and questioned, what If we don't exist as what we see might be fake as we can never tell due to the fact everyone sees everything differently. But then Descartes thought that since we think, we exist. Even though we think differently, we still use our minds. So the Descartes came up with the quote, "I think, therefore I am."
